Sew Frugal make #1 is Pauline Alice Onil Blouse. This is a fabric I purchased from Pauline about 5 years ago.

I kept this pattern as is with some Winter adjustments. I took out some fullness from the bodice. I added an invisible zipper at centre back in case I take out more bodice fullness. I get a bit ‘what if’ regarding shape from time to time.

The sleeve fullness is reduced. Because this is for Winter, I took extended the sleeve and added a sleeve cuff.

Pauline really loves what I’ve done to make her pattern work for the Winter.

This free pattern was published to celebrate Pauline Alice Patterns 10 year anniversary.

What is SewFrugal?

I made 2 Itch to Stitch Lindy Petal skirts using ponte fabric that was in my stash.

There was enough red fabric to cut out both front layers.

I didn’t have enough black ponte so I cut one kinda high/low front skirt piece.

Both worked well.

I’d never sewed with Itch to Stitch patterns before and now I love this pattern company. Not just because they have 4 free patterns. The sizing suits me really well.
