As you can see, I’ve sewn a shiraz colour linen trousers using my trouser block pattern.

On these straight leg trousers I’ve added front and back pockets.

The back pockets are welt pockets using Alison Smith MBE book ‘The Sewing Book’.

The knit tops I sewed recently and the jacket I sewed at least 3 years ago all work together.

Seeing these photos makes me think I need to lower the trouser hems a tad.

I’m happy with the fit of the trousers. The linen fabric was purchased from Minerva’s Bower in Katoomba. They have a unique range of fabrics that I constantly keep an eye for.
