DIY Andes Jacket with Itch to Stitch Patterns

Itch to Stitch patterns has an Andes Jacket and I sewed this in size 10.

Because it’s cold, I had to make a new Winter jacket using Minerva’s soft shell fabric.

It was a personal thrill to sew this jacket and make it look very store bought.

That meant considering all the zipper and notion choices from my stash that I could make the most of this project. Making this level of colour choice isn’t something I’m good at.

The long zipper was the only additional purchase I made to finish off this jacket. Yes. I bought the zipper from The Sewing Basket.

All the hems are finished with cotton fabric I cut on the bias.

I know. It’s just a jacket. I sewed this jacket. And I like it.

Now I really, really love Itch to Stitch patterns!
