Rylie shirt reworked

It was only in November that I sewed this shirt. Love the fabric and style.

This style is really comfortable and I wore it again recently but my styling has changed.

I did a bit of rework on the back of this version.

Would you believe I unpicked the back of this blouse and recut the back bodice? There are now 2 sets of darts to gain some shaping across the back.

I’m wearing shirts tucked in to create a waist and also try using the rule of thirds for styling.

Dumping garments I’ve sewn rarely happens because I’m too invested in planning and sewing them.

This version is 3 cm shorter than the first version as well so I feel more likely to wear this as we head into cooler weather.

All of this rework came about because it’s SewAprilBlouse26 this month. Reworking a shirt doesn’t qualify for the challenge but this challenge got me to use my trusty unpicker and rework this blouse.
