So50sustainableSewing part 1

Butterick 6494 is a great pattern I’ve made a few times now and for Minerva as a Minerva Brand Ambassador.

This is a great top that I love wearing each year. The fabric quality is wonderful.

So it made perfect sense to use 2 fabric remnants from previous Minerva projects for this month’s @sewover50 #So50SustainableSewing challenge for August 2021.

The blue crepe fabric was used on the Deer and Doe jumpsuit that I wear and love the comfort this fabric provides 2 years ago. The royal blue textured fabric was used for a faux wrap dress last year.

This year I’ve paired both fabric for a new top that is really comfortable to wear – of course. Oh and it goes so well with my latest Style Arch Lola trousers that I made last month too.

It’s on my Instagram account

Yes there is another #so50sustainablesewing project I’m about to reveal because the design idea I had is now the jacket idea that’s been in the back of my mind for a few months.
