Cos is a fashion label I love to use as my style guide. I’m not their target market. I’m certainly not their fit model. I just like to know if there are seasonal trends that might work for me.

Part of the challenge is finding the fabric colours the current season promotes.

The other challenge is does that trend suit me?

Will I pay high prices for clothes that might be time limited?

Should I even bother?

In the brown capsule above, the only fabric I purchased this year was the linen for these trousers. I kid you not. The brown knit fabric was in my stash and I don’t know how long I’ve owned this knit.

Now the jacket was a Minerva make using a Burda pattern.
