Diving into my pattern stash, Silhouette Patterns 5-Piece Pocketed Yoga Pants looked at me with puppy dog eyes.

The cold weather commenced and my trusty Silhouette patterns Yoga pants were looking a wee bit tired. It was time to make a new pair using good quality ponte fabric.

This test fabric and elastic were from my existing sewing supplies.

As you can see above, I’m hemming the pants and the seams are not overlocked. Ponte doesn’t need seam finishing.

The green/khaki fabric is the third version of these yoga pants being cut out.

Spoiler alert: I’ll have a caramel, black and khaki version to show you soon.

I used size 14 and raised the centre back seam by 2cm.
