My latest project is with this beautiful Minerva Exclusive Viscose Challis using the Exclusive Botanic Bower print. I’m going to be constructing a dress with this amazing print using a previously used pattern – Simplicity 7154. The reason being is this pattern allows you to ‘design your own’ dress with the views it provides.

Once I get a classic style like this pattern to fit my current body, the pattern becomes my go-to pattern of the season.
Botanic Bower print has really strong Summer colours and there are a myriad of accent colours you can work with when you’re in the mood to embellish this fabric.

In this photo you can see how drapey the fabric is so I’ll have to think about how to make the most of the softness of this fabric and work the floaty properties of it for a gorgeous Summer dress.

I’ll do my best to make this fabric look like a great Summer fabric you’ll love to wear again and again.
