Vlieseline G785 tests

Butterick 3386 is an old pattern I used to test Vlieseline G785 on a few fabrics.

The sewing I did using Vlieseline also started with this pattern because I did a full bust adjustment.

I wore this first version of Butterick 3386 in New Zealand. When I wore this top after I sewed it, I thought it needed a full bust adjustment.

On this second version I used this purple fabric so I could check the alignment across the pattern.

I tried this new to me full bust adjustment to see if this worked for me.

Vlieseline G785 is light weight fusable woven interlining and is designed to use on light weight fabrics. In my case this is cotton fabric. This interlining is good for interlining small parts of garments so I used it on the collar and placket.

No ground breaking findings. This interlining worked.

I paired this top with the caramel Peytons so you could see how this top looks in the garden.

Both fabrics were purchased at The Sewing Basket.
