Originally I pattern tested Liesl and Co’s Enmore Halter dress/top in 2022.

Both my garden and body shape has changed since then.

Liesl’s description states: The Enmore Halter Dress + Top is a halter-neck sundress that features narrow straps, a built-in bra, and pockets. The shelf bra includes cup sizes to help you get a great fit. This style can be cut on grain or on bias if you want more drape to the fabric. View B is a shorter, blouse-length version of the dress.

This top version has the same blue colour in this cute butterfly print as the linen trousers I wear a lot when the weather is hot. It’s hot right now and I wanted a Summer strappy top to pair with these trousers.

The trouser pattern is Simplicity 9376. The front waistband is flat. There are pockets and the leg shape is slim to the ankle.

I’ve straightened the leg shape to take advantage of the linen drape quality.

Liesl’s Enmore halter top has a bust shelf. I’ve used the C cup bust shelf and I’m really happy with the bust support and skin coverage this design offers.

The Butterfly in Coral print fabric was purchased through Lush online fabric shop probably a year ago now.

Next up is the 2024 dress version of the Enmore Halter top sewn using Butterfly in Coral print fabric.
