New capsule using @longancraft fabrics.

Burda lined jacket for embroidered linen fabric.
Kwik Sew shorts pattern now pants using this drapy denim.

Longancrafts asked me to choose from their range. Their brocades are so vibrant.

Pants and tops are my go-to choices so I chose 2 fabrics within my gift allowance. Longan Craft are really open to letting you choose from their range. They’re also fast to deliver.

The cotton denim ‘thin hot blue’ fabric is a 4oz light weight fabric. This also comes in 7oz and 8oz weight and a few colours.

I knew this lighter fabric would be perfect as trousers. Hence my using Kwik Sew shorts pattern that I’ve used before and I lengthened the pattern for trousers.

Then choosing from their embroidered fabric range, I chose this white cotton/linen based fabric for a simple lined jacket.

There are 4 embroidered linen colour ways to choose from. The dark blue version was my ‘almost’ choice.

I used Burda Style 5799 for this lined jacket and some @prym.consumer.japan rose gold snaps as the closure.

The embroidered fabric has a plain border which is great to use for facings of pocket accents.

Burda Style 5799 has 2 views so I used the shortest jacket length, full length sleeves, back belt and then a basic front pocket to fit my phone.

Pants used Kwik Sew 3614 shorts pattern for pants.
