Here is Edie top #1 from @SewOverItLondon sewn with a knit from someone else’s stash.

Thanks Brisbane Spoolette donor.🧵
I really should use my tape measure more often.
What I found out was I needed
✅ Add a sway back adjustment for better shaping.
✅ Remove the neckline width to not show what’s underneath.
✅ Find a way to make the neckline stable.
✅ See how the bodice length works with my jeans. Too long tees swallow me and emphasis my width. Not a good look.
✅ Maybe dust off the Coverpro for a neat hem finish.

Sewing patterns are a starting point for any garment. Knit tops are in high rotation in the Winter as I wear them with jeans.
Some printed knits lose their colour and become baggy when I wear them each week. I’m always on the look out for simple knit tops I can sew again and again.
In the long term, maybe this pattern is going to be good for sewing merino jersey layers. Maybe 2 tops?
My Designer Stitch Peyton jeans are getting lots of wear!
