Reveal: Pauline Alice’s latest Nautic set.
I made the bias binding using fabric from my stash a few months ago. Yes I actually used the Simplicity bias binding machine that had been sitting in my sewing room for more than 10 years.
Since I sewed this pattern, Pauline has made some changes to this new pattern range so you get to sew the final versions.
While we were testing these patterns I made a few tweaks to the shirt. Once Pauline let me know what changes she made, then I added more length to the shirt.
The Nautic set includes the shirt, shorts and a skirt. Now I have the updated patterns I’ll have to try out the skirt with a matching shirt.

Honestly it was a real fluke having this blue and white striped fabric in my stash. The buttons were also in my stash.
Print matching motivates me so not only did I test these patterns from scratch, I also match the stripes.

Right now we’re having 27C days. Thankfully I have this cute Nautic shorts coord set that feels brilliant to wear.
