Can a person float as much as their dress floats?

Ann of Designer Stitch and fellow Australian recently launched another new pattern – Amira dress.

Ann always puts out a pattern tester call and this time I thought I should try her designs. She is really supportive to help you make your version look fabulous. We individually focus on what our version will be and she gives us fitting guidance. Everyone gets help along the way.

I’m a pleats person and not a gathers person. But. Extending my sewing skills is what motivates me.

Yes I know how to gather fabric but I rarely do so.

At the time of this pattern launch, the latest series of Bridgerton was released so this dress style lends itself to this story theme.

There are plenty of pattern fit basics on Designer Stitch blog so I’ve reused one for sway back adjustment. I appreciate good fitting clothes and knowing this basic adjustment ensure I wear clothes that are comfortable and fit well.
