I’ve created a coord or secret pyjamas.

You saw my August post using this fabric with New look 6230. I have worn that top every week as a comfy layer while the weather was cool. I love how these colours are a pop of colour and beckoned Spring to arrive.
Well Spring did reveal itself and I made the coord pants using McCalls 4261. Can I tell you a cool secret?
McCalls 4261 knit pants uses 1 pattern piece.

This print looks just as amazing no matter which way you use it. It’s that accommodating for sewists. Whether you are new to sewing or not, knowing which is the right way for any print can be a hurdle to identify.
This print can be used in any direction. The choice is yours.

This print also makes it easy to use it all and have no scraps to go into landfill.
This fabric doesn’t need seam finishing. The knit on this fabric has stretch in all directions and the fabric doesn’t fray so yes, you can sew this fabric quickly and know it will not fray.
Here’s a maker tip:
On the pants, I sewed the elastic onto the waist band seam first. Then I turned the waistband over and finished the waistband enclosed.
Thank you Minerva for allowing me to use your exclusive print in this comfy knit.
